Wahelp mobile app

In June 2021, we released the WAHelp mobile app for our existing customers.

A mobile application is a software specially developed for a specific mobile platform; at the moment, the application is available for the Android platform.

Our website has a visual interface such as buttons, text, images, and more. Still, many of our clients have had situations where they cannot use our interface through a computer. That is why we have developed a mobile application that contains one of the main functions, namely the internal messenger.

With the help of this mobile application, it became possible to interact with customers directly through a mobile device, exchange files and photos, use ready-made message templates, transfer dialogs to other employees who are online, and much more.

The functionality of the mobile app

When you start the application, an authorization window opens to check the correctness of the data you entered. After entering the data, the “Login” button will turn green.

At the entrance, all projects (bots) of the user are loaded, the first project (bot) is selected for the first time. Therefore, if you have an integration with one project, you do not need to select the desired project since it will open automatically.

There are two buttons under the search bar: “Dialogs” and “Operators.”

The section “Operators” displays all online users.

If you have more than one project (bot), you can click on the drop-down list in the upper right corner and select the project you need. When you choose the desired project, all users and dialogs will be loaded accordingly.

You can also go to the settings by clicking on the gear in the upper right corner.

All settings are synchronized; if you change the “employee connection message template” in the mobile application, it will also change on the computer. The “Notifications” function works only while the application is open (this was done due to the Android 10.0 specification, it may be improved in the future).

Now let’s move on to the dialog with the client.

In the dialog, you can edit the user card; for this, you need to click on the appropriate button to the right of the client’s name; you can go back to all dialogs using the “To dialogs” button. The rest of the buttons copy the functionality from the primary messenger.

On the right, there is an outgoing message (green background). On the left, there is a received message (white background). “Reply” messages are also displayed in the mobile application (there will be a characteristic green line, but it is not yet possible to send such a message through the application, perhaps such an opportunity will appear in the future).

The text input line is displayed below; all emoticons are already built into your mobile device’s keyboard, so a separate section for emoticons is not required.

There is also a “Burger” button (3 horizontal lines), designed to select templates, if you have any, a button for attaching files, and a button “Send.”

To select a template, you just need to click on it, and then the text from the template will be transferred to the message input line. Opposite each template, there are buttons “Edit” and “Delete.”

To start a new dialog, you need to select a channel and enter a phone number (or your login if you chose Instagram); after entering it, you will immediately go to the dialog with the client.

The main functions of the mobile application have been described above.

The application will be improved, and, possibly, the functionality will be expanded in the future.
